Born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Redlands, California, Dr. Lin received his BS in Biology from University of California, Los Angeles. He received his MD from University of Michigan Medical School, and also finished his Transitional Internship in Michigan at Oakwood Hospital. He moved to Chicago, Illinois for his ophthalmology residency program at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. He stayed in Chicago for his vitreoretinal fellowship at the University of Chicago. He returned to the Inland Empire with Inland Valley Retina in 2009.
Dr. Lin has been involved in multiple clinical trial investigations for medications that treat diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, and macular degeneration. He has published in scientific literature and has presented posters at Ophthalmological meetings.
In his free time, Dr. Lin is a sports enthusiast. He can be found around the Inland Empire playing tennis, basketball, and golf.
Dr. Lin is available for consultation and treatment in all areas of medical and surgical vitreo-retinal disease. His interests include the management of macular degeneration, retinal detachments, and diabetic retinopathy. He is versed in the most recent technological advances in vitreo-retinal surgery.
